Doris is a woven rug in pure wool that has been combined with two of Kasthall’s unique yarns – the fluffy chenille yarn that creates the rug’s pattern and which is alternated with our classic wool yarn, which is used in many of our woven collections. The geometric dot pattern is inspired by the shape of different precious stones and gives the surface of the rug a beautiful structure. The colour scales are like those of precious stones and metals, ranging from subtle, natural shades to bright and colourful combinations. Because the yarn that is used in Doris is the same as in other woven rugs, you can create your own colour combinations! Start with the chenille yarn – where you can also select colours from our Rita collection – and add the wool yarn, for which you can choose freely from our coloured yarns in the Häggå/Arkad collection. If you would like a more noticeable pattern, remember to choose colours that are more of a contrast.
