The neighbourhood that climbs the Galata Hill is often referred to as the "New Town", where the first thing you'll learn is that new is a relative term in Istanbul. Much of what we can see here even if looks modern and contemporary, in fact dates from the 19th century. Our Galata chandelier also combines an elegant new design with forever used materials like the structure in brass and wood with the fabric lampshades, creating an imposing form.
