A multi-talent with many extras - the models of program S 170 are designed as A-stackers, allowing for the safe vertical stacking of many chairs thus reducing the storage space required. They provide the linking system of program S 160: the chairs with armrests can be connected in an easy, safe, and space saving way without the need for tools (Thonet patent).

The shells of the armchair are made of plastic in dark grey or signal white, or molded plywood stained beech, without upholstery or with partial upholstery for seat. The molded plywood version is available with different backrest heights. Armrests made of elastomer.

Easy stacking, transport, and storage - an especially important issue for all multifunctional spaces."
